Topic: Site Development / DAFNE Online iPhone application - help with content/design needed I can confirm that carbs you add in the app are kept on your phone - no uploading to the website. Whenever we release a new version of the app we fill in the 'What's New' section on the app store so that you can see what's changed in this update. |

Topic: Site Development / Auto calculate QA from BG - let's get it right Rich, your wish is my command. In 1.6.2 on the app store now you can enter your QA:CP ratio in a text box and make it as fine grained as you like. Other issues fixed are:* Crashes when saving a diary entry on iOS 4 * Auto calc now gives negative corrections |

Are there any specific app features that you'd like to use on the desktop? The website has most of the functions available on the apps; or are you more interested in being able to use the app features offline? |

Topic: DAFNE Online Mobile / To all iPhone 3G users This is a heads up for all people who are using an iPhone 3G and the DAFNE Online app. When the next release of iOS comes out (version 6 in autumn) Apple will be removing the ability to build the app for the iPhone 3G. This is because the 3 has a different processor type to the 3GS, 4 and 4S. If you want a more technical explanation then this blog post explains all.So what does this mean for our app users? You will still be able to download updates (and fresh copies) of the app up until the first update of the app after iOS 6 comes out. After that happens any updates I add won't be able to create an iPhone 3G version, and you will have to stay with the version in the app store when iOS 6 came out. Even though you won't be able to get updates for the app, you will still be able to use it on your iPhone 3G Just a heads up, in case you were already thinking of upgrading ![]() |

Topic: DAFNE Online Mobile / Application Differences Hi JWo. The android app is developed by Keith, and I look after the iPhone app. In the iPhone you can add your own carbs and also auto-calc corrections, and this isn't in the android version yet as Keith usually takes guidance from what I'm putting into the iPhone app. Also, we do this in or spare time so we can't always devote as much attention to the apps and site as we'd like! Rest assured an updated android version will be out soon ![]() |

Topic: Site Development / Auto calculate QA from BG - let's get it right If you go to the settings tab then the auto calculate option and settings are there. Once turned on when you change your BG, CP, ratio or entry type it will recalculate your qa insulin dose. |

Topic: Site Development / Auto calculate QA from BG - let's get it right Annette - yes, Negative Corrections will be coming in the next update of the app.Rich - not sure what you mean, ratios have to be entered as 2 figures separated by a colon, however you can have multiple decimal places; so 1:0.004 should work. |

Topic: Site Development / Blood glucose diary date Hi guys,I'll look into this. When we first built the site it was aimed at Uk/Ireland DAFNE graduates; then after a chance meeting with one of the Oz DAFNE educators the site was opened up to our Diabetic cousins from down under, with the NZ and Kuwait programmes following soon after. So some of the locality specific stuff we should have done early on was missed out. Apologies, and we will work to fix it |
