Ah - the default view in the settings app isn't ysed any more so you should see all of your entries as you add them to the app

Hi Austen,

Did you download a new copy of the app on your new phone, or restore it from a backup of a previous iphone? If it's a new copy of the app then when we do the download it only gets the last 14 days worth of entries so you will only see them. Note when you add new entries to the app the ones you've already downloaded will still be visible as the app lists all entries it has stored.

Hope this makes sense?

I was chatting to Jackie, one of the DAFNE Doctors at Sheffield this morning and she told me about this upcoming system for continuous glucose monitoring. I was lucky to have a go with the Freestyle Navigator continuous monitoring system a month or so ago, and it seems this new system, the Freestyle Libre, is an evolution of the navigator. I for one found it really useful to get a continuous view of my blood glucose, to see how my body responds to food and insulin in (near) real time. Scientists are currently working on a bionic pancreas, seems like a more automated way of diabetes management. It's 3+ years away but I'd certainly like to give it a go.

Thanks for the feedback - glad to hear it's working well for both sighted and non-sighted users. I'll look to move Snack nearer to the top (but not at the top) of the list and have a think about the decimal point idea.

The connection failed problem sounds like a real one so I'll take a look at that too.

Sorry for the late reply - are you still having this problem? Have you tried adding a new entry - this should trigger the sync to the site for all previous entries. If it's still not working can you let us know around what time you're trying to do the upload so we can check our logs?

I'd definitely recommend a Frio wallet - I've used them in hot countries since I was diagnosed and they're great. All you need to do it activate them in water then top up the water every couple of days:

iPad all the way for me, but I am bought into the ecosystem with pad, phone and laptop. They all work together seamlessly and quite intuitively. Also iOS 7 is bringing a fresh and exciting set of features for the iPad and phone.

It sounds like you work in app/web design? If you'd like to help out then we're always open to offers ;) Good idea though, I'd already thought about changing the home tab to have more information on. Regarding the calculation - the app already does this (see auto-calc in the settings) - is this what you mean or have I interpreted it wrongly?

SimonC/Garry - thanks for the feedback, some good ideas. I'll also take a look at the graphs on the site and see what we can do to make printing easier.

With the imminent announcement of iOS 7 within the next few weeks this is a great opportunity to apply some improvements to the iPhone app. I thought I'd create this post to capture what people want in a central location. My thoughts so far are:

1. Change the home screen so that is more useful - what kind of information would people want to see at first glance? I was thinking of previous BG reading, averages, but would like suggestions.
2. iPad version of the app
3. Incorporate charts into the app for better analysis

As always I'm open to suggestions so if there's something you'd really like to get in to the app then let us know.
