Topic: DAFNE Online Mobile / Bug with iPhone app (& site diary) RobT, not sure what you're getting at here - the app lets you enter mealtime correctives in the format x+y, or even x-y if that's what you do. It then syncs them up to the site - what is the particular bug?If I remember correctly on the DAFNE course they teach us to enter correctives with the mealtime dose in the above format, which has always been the guiding principle of how the app/site work. |

Unfortunately I don't live near Norwich, but make sure you get some pics and we'll find a way to put them up on the site! |

Topic: General Discussion / DAFNE course manual Novorapidboi is right, if you are still in touch with your dafne educators then you can ask them for your 8 digit centre code. If not, drop us an email at [email protected] with your name and where you took the course and we can get you verified and grant access to the online handbook. |

Topic: DAFNE Online Mobile / Mobile site released Growler - kind of, if you put .mobile after the URL (e.g www.dafneonline.co.uk/diary.mobile) it will show you the mobile site, however clicking any links won't keep the mobile site displayed. We'll work on changing this to make it easier to force mobile mode. Topic: General Discussion / DAFNE news on Twitter ..and now Google Plus! Great idea JWo - Twitter is a good place to put 'Latest News' - I'm not sure how you'd get the information to feed into it though - I'd be happy for you to take a feed from the news we have here on the site, however it is quite sporadic. With regard to the DAFNE Site, again I'm not sure how frequently news occurs on that one. It would be great if we could get each individual DAFNE Centre tweeting to the same account, though as you mentioned it's usually only one user logging into an account, and the DAFNE Centre HCP's may not have the time to tweet.I guess an open question is - what would people like to see on such a feed? |

Topic: Site Development / DAFNE Online iPhone application - help with content/design needed Tony, Mike - you are most welcome.A number of users have reported crashes - unfortunately I can't diagnose and fix these unless I can see your device crash logs. Most people turn these off as they don't want to submit information to Apple, however it's the only real way I can access crash logs and fix the crashes. Don't worry about turning this on - none of your private data will be shared with Apple, only the logs for each application, if it crashes. To do this, follow the instructions in the following link: How can I send you a crash report Thanks, Simon |

Topic: DAFNE Online Mobile / Rationale - Please read Hi inmotion,The latest release of the app (1.4 - out in the next few weeks) will two way sync in it, as well as the Oz DAFNE Carbs list as an option. The adding of foods to the carb counter is on the to-do list for future releases - and will add the option of viewing carbs as grams. Thanks, Simon |

Topic: General Discussion / BG Diary Hi Steve,A couple of questions - what is the error message which is displayed, and which web browser are you using? If you are seeing an error related to the DTD, it means the browser can't understand the XML (some versions of Internet Explorer are guilty of this). You can get around this by directly saving the link (right click on it and select 'Save Target As') and then opening it up in Excel. Regarding using Excel, are you doing things which might be useful to other users, and if so is it something we could add in to the online diary? Thanks, Simon |
