Topic: General Discussion / Bedtime / Morning BS I'm now in the process of bringing BI to a morning dose instead of night time (10.00pm). Going to do it backwards so did it 1 hour earlier (9.00pm). Will leave it at this time for 4/5 days before altering again. Hope this is the right way of doing it rather than doing it in one big jump missing a night time dose and having to watch out for a high BS the next morning. |

Topic: General Discussion / 7-day waking average Hi NR,Thanks for replying/helping. How did that happen______ Absolutely no idea Too much QA, was the count right______ At teatime I had bolognese (homemade) left from the night before and also rice (packet of) the sort which you cook in the microwave - 52.0g carbs per sachet - had it hundreds of times - did 5u QA as i usually would for this. What was your correction dose before bed______ I never do a correction dose at bedtime for fear of going hypo during my sleep. Maybe at the level I could/should. |

Topic: Carbohydrate Counting / My Carb Guess Challenge! Hi michaelj,Thank you for your reply. I've just checked and the Batchelor's oxtail cup a soup (1 sachet) = 12.8g cho per sachet. The toastie is not actually toasted - Warburtons Toastie is the actual name of it's and = 20.8g cho per slice. Total = 54.4g so maybe call it 50g/60g. |

Topic: General Discussion / Changing Ratio after Hypo My lunchtime ratio is 1.5:10 (1 and a half units to every 10g cho). When I tested ready to have my lunch today I was hypo - 3.1 - so treated, waited to do 15 minute test at which point BS was then 6.7. I then had my lunch but instead of doing my usual QA 1.5:10 ratio did 1:10. Am I correct in doing this? Gill ![]() |
