Breakfast: Fruit n Fibre
Lunch: Grilled bacon, poached egg with Salad
Dinner: Mexican Bean Burger x 2 with Salad

Making a concerted effort to loose gut before I get the speedos out, diet not normally this healthy Very Happy

I normally have a bad case of dawn phen, but since on a diet and having little or no carbs for dinner this seems to have gone away, don't know if this might help others struggling with high morning BG.

Normal diet might be:

Breafast: Doorstep Toast and marmalade
Lunch: Baguette with proper butter and pate or Bacon sandwhich
Dinner: BBQ, loads meat and fish (bread rolls for burgers or potatoes) with salad

Which do people prefer the sound of?

No problem at all - why would it be? Smile

In the spirit of sharing information...

Breakfast - Bran flakes, blueberries on top and a protein shake on the side
Lunch - M&S New York Pastrami Sandwich (en route to a wedding)
Dinner - Smoked Salmon, then Roast Lamb, then mini cheesecake desserts (at wedding)

Not a typical dinner for me though - was a treat!

Thank you Simon & good to see you've joined in.

Love the sound of your dinner at your wedding especially the smoked salmon. Hope you had a great time at the wedding.

, and plenty of tea drinking. All very yummy! ^_^

Same here. DD & DS always say myself & OH drink too much tea Laughing but that may have something to do with them having to make all the brews for us throughout the day.
Laughing

Haha, that is great. Very Happy When you do stuff like carb free meals, do you ever change your tea type or just avoid? I tend to drink my favourite herbal nettle tea when I'm carb freeing. Smile

Keep them brews comin'! ;P ...and bigger the cup, the better! XD

OK OK I have been reading these with interest and am entertained/even amused by what we consider "normal eating". However, I give up... what is an "mds"?
