Hi

I have Blackberry Bold 9700 currently and am desperate for an app that will allow me to record my BMs, QA/BI units, CPs and moods. I currently log them all manually and plot them into a spreadsheet (Excel) once a week to spot the patterns.

I will be starting to use the online DAFNE diary (just registered today) so hopefully that will help speed up the process.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum..................

You probably wont get any better than the DAFNE app for DAFNE specific recording, like, QA, BI, CP etc..................however there are some apps available for the blackberry, just do a search, you may need to pay for them though.............

The online diary here is good, I personally still write my readings down on paper and upload on to the site, this can be done during the day, or taken from my meter at night, so not really getting in the way of day to day life...........

I have the DAFNE app running on both my Dell Streak and my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, both Android devices. My primary recording app though is OnTrack because I record more than diabetic stuff and I find the graphs really useful. The carb counting section of the DAFNE app is superb! Extremely useful.

My HTC Sensation doesn't seem to like the regular site view... How can I select the mobile view myself without having to rely on the site to bring it up? It has shown up once so far this evening but I'm now back on regular view.

The main problem I have is the text entry. It's very difficult editing what I've typed without having to delete to get back to the point that I want to edit (like add some text after finishing the post before posting it). The box keeps bouncing around too. Sad

Hi, there is a link at the bottom of every page that allows switching between the full and mobile sites. With regards to text entry on a mobile, unfortunately this will always be problematic due to the way mobile phone web browsers and text entry with them works. This is not an issue with the site rather the way the phone works and so is outside of our control. You can try it in both 'views' of the site to see which one is better. We can try experimenting with the layout of the mobile site to improve the 'jumping' but entering text will always be down to the phones implementation.

I have a blackberry bold and would be happy to test. The thought of inputting blood sugars on the tube etc sounds too good to be true.

With regard to JWo's problems with theHTC Sensation, I had the same problems with my Dell Streak, and still do. When running the app on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 however I do not have these problems. The two devices run different versions of Android and I had put it down to this but Marke has a point, it may not simply be the Android version but what each device does with it.
