local meetings

Thanks for all of your comments. It's nice to see that there is some interest and I'm not barking up the wrong tree, some great ideas I though perhaps a pub skittles night or something would work so that people have an activity that they can chat over. If I could make a suggestion? If there are people out there who would be happy to take the lead on organising something, if you were to contact your local DAFNE centre with some details they should hopefully be able to send out emails and possibly letters to the other local graduates to let them know.

Our local healthcare people are going to try and get our graduates together every year, They said we will get more and more people each year as more people complete Dafne. This will only be once a year though but should still be useful.

I've been very lucky with the group I did DAFNE with - we've met up once and another meet is planned for next month - plus we all have each others mob numbers/e-mails, which is nice :-)

it would be great for others to get involved too, lets hope they read this post and get in touch then we can arrange something between us such as a carb counting lunch in a pub maybe to share experiences, get some help and help others. I have sent you a message with my contact details.

JWo and others your link in the previous post didn't work because you put speech marks around the website link, you don't need them and indeed they stop the link working. I have fixed your post so that it works but for future reference you need url=<website link> without speech marks around <website link>
