Consultant thinking something else going on to do with pancreatitis that is dropping my sugar levels....to wait and see....otherwise am doing fine:-D

Hi
I'm person who believes when the time is right you take to exercise, I was never into exercise although I considered myself active, but could never take to running, more a fear of hypos I accept that now,
The pod was the advent that changed that, the time is right for me to pursue this now, but it was hard to begin with,
I was lucky that my dafne group had a runer in it, so I could learn and run with him,
You seem to have a unique type of diabetes hope it goes well with the tests
Brian x..... Very Happy

Thanks...x
maybe one day I will get back into swimming as really enjoy that but not until they get me sorted. The pod has helped the control of diabetes compared to mdi and consultant wishes everyone had sugar levels like mine...but doesnt fully understand the lows with no insulin etc, so will see what tests he is planning as all he said was I will discuss when you come into hospital!
Confused

Hi vickyp
Hope your tests went well, and you have more understanding of your lows
Myself took to the pool for the 1st time since over two years, the guide for the pod states 60mins in a depth of 7.6m.
I had no issues with the pod.
I really enjoyed the whole swim, did 30 lengths just got to build myself up now.
I'm finding since I stopped MDI my skin is so much better, no needle marks, an added bonus
Hope your well
Have a good Christmas and new year
Brian.....x
