I've been getting some very high readings so last night Tues 30/07 I increased BI from 18u to 22u.

Do you think I've done the right thing?

I know I'll have to wait three days for any changes to start taking effect and another 3 for them to settle down and take full effect. So basically it will be next Mon 05/08 before I see what it's really starting to do.

Its too early to tell at the minute as lantus takes a few days to fully work in your system, I had the same problem a few weeks ago and had to wait 2-3 days to be absolutely sure, try having a carb free meal tomorrow and see if it has stabled your bg levels if not, then raise ur BI again

Thank you for your comment & help.

Have a look at Wed 31/07 11.14am entry. Have I done the (QA:CP) correct? Should be 1u QA to 1
1CP (or 10g carbohydrate)

Personally I just use 1. Your entry is good and everyone will know what you mean.
BGs have come down with a bump...but stick with it and let things settle out. You may need do more BG testing to keep a closer check on things.

Gill. Here is my last 10 days. I am unable to include a BG Diary other than here. I'll ask if this facility can be added when creating a direct message through Message Inbox.

Your corrections can just be listed as 07:14 2.5, 07:31 1.5 and 10:12 1.5.
Any thoughts about having breakfast earlier?
Your BI is of course working throughout this early daytime.

- These weren't corrections they were the amount of carbs I'd had for the hypos (jelly babies)

Any thoughts about having breakfast earlier?
- I don't really do breakfast until about 10am ish
