Been for my flu jab this week and have had the usual tender arm and wacky blood sugars as a consequence of infection and insulin resistance.
Hoping things level out in the next week or so.
I guess we will all react in the same way to this years strain, but it might be good to compare notes and we will know what to expect.
Have you booked yours yet?

Regards
Garry

Yup, booked mine yesterday but I've got a bit of a wait... 30th Oct. :/
I'll re-post once I've had it. ^^; Will be interesting to compare everyone's BG diaries!

had mine and as usual no real reaction. As they tell you if you get a reaction it is most likely not to the 'strain' as it is inert, its the suspension that it is in. If you get a cold its not the jab that caused it. Thats not suggesting that people don't react to what's 'pushed' into their bodies though Very Happy

I had my Flu Jag last Saturday, like Marke no real reaction, not even a tenter arm. Very Happy

My pneumonia vaccine booster is due, the last time It felt like my left arm was about to fall off and my left side was tender so I am not looking forward to that jag.

I've been having the flu jabs since they first started and never suffered any adverse reactions.

Mines booked for Monday afternoon 15th October. After it i usually get a red patch on my arm, warm to the touch & the area sewlls up like a balloon for a couple of days Sad

I also thought the pneumonia vaccine was a 'one off'.

Like LadyNovo777 I'm sure I was told the pneumococcal was "once a lifetime" vaccine. Had mine several years ago, and has never been discussed with the Dr. again since.

Refuse to have it. Had 2 several years apart and was generally unwell for 8 months plus. Would rather have flu than suffer.
