If you get more hypos as a result of exercising that's when the doses of insulin should drop..............
so there may be some reduction of dose to the previous meal and/or a reduction in basal dose, it all depends on what kind of activity is taking place [intensity/duration]............
But this might not make a noticeable drop of dose, at least not straight away, I suppose you would need to be consistent with your activity to make any long term dose reductions.......
Have you been offered anything like metformin to combat the high resistance..........?

The increase in hypos was insignificant over time.
I have suggested Metformin several times but for whatever reason the specialists have not been enthusiastic. They basically think it is not the answer. Current advice is to keep doing what I am doing! I am not putting on weight. Helen
