I may be wrong, it has been known. Back in 1987 I went around for a whole week thinking I had made a mistake, but I was wrong. I hadn't!
I thought my husband was the only person who thought like this. thanks for giving me a laugh this morning Roger

This thread is already well underway but thought I would give my tuppence worth..........
I look for spikes on a daily basis between lunch and dinner [convenience] at about 1.5 hours post meal, I do this because I am looking to see what combination of food, that I have just eaten for lunch, has been most successful with my chosen timing of insulin.........
I have managed to have several items for lunch, some being quite carby, and still maintain a BG below 7, and that's just with dose timing..........
So my advice is to test and record, take notes...................it is possible to avoid large spikes...........
Th Shreddies actually will be absorbed quite quickly, just like white bread is, faster than sugar even................but again, everyone needs to make there own observations with all the different foods they eat on a regular basis.........
