I have an iPhone4 and havce been using the App since Christmas and it is truly a great App. worth buying an iPhone for. It is really making a difference to the way I look after my Diabetes. Being able to view the averages is cool and the display in DAFNE format, in particular to show + and - adjustments is great. I may have found a small bug however, when I enter values after 11pm they appear in the following day entries. If I change the time back before 11pm they appear in the correct day. I am unsure whether this is related to daylight saving time settings on either the phone or within the app maybe? Anyway keep up the good work. I don't understand why people are asking for a CP portion on the web site when it seems to be part of the version of the app that I use already? Maybe these are old posts and you have changed it since? :-)

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your positive comments - I'll let Apple know that we deserve some commission on iPhone sales ;)

Anyway, regarding your problem, if you check the settings page you'll see a Normal Bedtime entry. This allows you to specify a cut off time for the diary to put entries in the same day. It's useful because if you normally go to bed after midnight for example, your bedtime entry won't appear in the correct day If you set this to 0200, it will (provided you go to bed before 2am!)

Hope this fixes things for you - regarding the Carbs List I think people are just asking for updates to the existing functionality.

Hi Simon,

Love the iPhone app.

Thanks for clearing up the time problem SimonR mentioned.

I travel a great deal and find many times that I cannot get an internet connection for my iPhone so I use a computer to add in my results,
but then my iPhone is not up to date. Any chance of being able to sync both ways ?

With the Carb Counter on the iPhone app, any chance to be able to add foods along with My Favorite Food catagory.

In Australia we count carbs by grams, you use CP, any chance of adding a option button.

Thanks for your great work.

Cheers

George

I think DAFNE worldwide uses the CPs as well, its just you learn that 10g = 1 CP, also food packaging uses grams to which we convert to carb portions, how is the nutritional information displayed in Oz....?

Hi novorapidboi26

In oz the nutritional information is displayed in grams. Not sure what DAFNE Worldwide uses at present, the next schedualed course is not till July, but I am just trying to get a head start.

Hi inmotion,

The latest release of the app (1.4 - out in the next few weeks) will two way sync in it, as well as the Oz DAFNE Carbs list as an option.

The adding of foods to the carb counter is on the to-do list for future releases - and will add the option of viewing carbs as grams.

Thanks,

Simon
