Accessing Dafne

I attended the Dafne course in January and found it extremely helpful. I told my sister about it snd recommended her to look into it. She did this but was told that the NHS does not offer Dafne in her area, which is Hampshire. Do any HCPs know if it is possible to access Dafne training in that part of the country?

sadly the closest centre is probably Reading.

You might want to direct her to the BERTIE programme and its website here . Its based in Bournemouth which is closer ( well depending on where in Hampshire ) and has a web version as well. Its not DAFNE but we all deserve some form of Diabetes Education whatever form it takes.
