When I was first diagnosed 20 years ago, I was advised to inject in thighs, stomach, buttocks and arms, 12 years ago I went on Dafne and was advised not to use arms, I have been reading posts on here and people do inject into arms, is it advisable to use arms for injecting. |

I know diabetics who inject into arms and swear by it. I inject into arm muscle (deltoids, bicep, tricep) when I want to get my BGs down fast and that works well for me. Whatever works for you is what you should do. Everyone is different. The main message though is to rotate injection sites. Arms are smaller than the torso, so care needs to be taken to not inject repeatedly into the same sites. |
