I was wanting to use hand wipes for when i am not able to wash my hands, I went for pro formula antibacterial wipes from tesco which have aloe vera in them so what I want to know is will these give an accurate blood glucose result |

I just completed my Dafne course this week and we asked the same question about wipes. We were told not to use wipes with alcohol in them but were recommended if using wipes to get the ones AccuCheck do. I just bought them in Boots yesterday. £1.29 for 10 of them. Handy for when out and about! |

Best way would be to buy a pack, test after wiping with them, then wash your hands with soap and water, and try again. If the results aren't markedly different, then you should be fine. |
