The DUAG (DAFNE User Action Group)team were elected 2 years ago by the membership of DUG (DAFNE User Group) to act as representatives of DUG, and to provide a User voice in the running of DAFNE in the UK and Ireland. We have members who participate in the research and educator meetings as well as on the DAFNE Executive team.

In the last 2 years we have had little contact with our users, primarily because we have e-mail addresses for a subset of them. We are currently reviewing the our objectives fro the next 12-18 months, and so would welcome your thoughts (whether a DUG member or not) on what the challenges are for DAFNE at the moment, and what we should be doing to tackle them.

Thanks.

NB. If you're not a member of DUG and would like to join, then details are provided in the DAFNE User Group forum on this site. (All DAFNE Graduates in the last 18 months should have been told about DUG, and given the application form, as part of your training course. Those who graduated earlier will not automatically have been given the information).

If you want to get involved in DUAG, then send me a message through the site.

Perhaps it's only me?

Sorry Peter, but I just don't get the difference between DUG and DUAG, and their roles and purpose.

DUG is open to anyone who's taken the course, and are canvassed by DAFNE and the DUAG for opinions / research etc.

DUAG are an elected representative group of DAFNE Graduates who meet regularly and take part in activities to ensure DAFNE Graduates are better represented to DAFNE, Diabetes UK, NHS Trusts etc.

That's my take on it anyway!
