Does anyone have any travel insurance provider they could recommend? I am heading to the USA for 3 weeks and need a company who will cover my pre-existing diabetes!
I'd really appreciate any info anyone has.

Travel Insurance is important to understand, since like health insurance coverage, the customer may be refused coverage. Many insurance companies will offer a surplus of coverage for individuals and families. The company will consider few aspects of the policyholder, by reviewing the risk factors involved.

Hi
I used Carole Nash, i had to ring their medical cover team, but it was £197.00 for 2 of us for a year covering the states and touring on a motorbike.

I always use boots, never had problem and provides good cover. I think the only time you actually find how good a company is when you need to make claim, and if you were to use in worse case scenario it would most likely not be you dealing with them but your travel companion. So it's worth mentioning at time to give your travel insurance permission to speak to them due to data protection as the world gone crazy.

Hello friends !

The trick is to shop around. It is quite easy with the tools available in this day and age.
I use these for car, home and, just now, for travel insurance.

gocompare, confused.com, moneysupermarket.

Only took a quote from gocompare and have been quoted 33 to 230 Pounds for single trip (family). The best among them is a five star rated quote for 65 quid. Not bad ?!
I'll post further if I get anything better.
Tried Tesco too but (despite having a clubcard) was quoted 160/- quids. Atrocious isn't it ?!

Another port of call for me is moneysavingexpert.com.

Good luck. God Bless you all.
