Heatwave affect on BG levels

During the current heatwave up until today my BG levels have been really well controlled. However, I stopped gloating this morning when I spiked quite considerably so I just wondered about other peoples experience during these exceptional temperatures

I have the opposite problem usually. My Insulin works more effectively in hot weather and I'm prone to go low rather than high, sadly my go to Hypo treatment can also melt in the heat ( Jelly Babies ! ) I never could stomach dextrose tablets and stuff like that.
