Anyone experience a problem in getting the lancet drums for this finger pricking device? I ordered some on 23rd December and was told today by the pharmacist that she had problems in getting supplies, so that's 3 weeks now. She said to phone Accu-Chek to get "emergency" supplies.

I had this a while ago now and went to a different pharmacy, in nearby town, as it had a different supplier and no issues....this was probably about 9months ago haven't had any issues since

Well after being told by them that these would be discontinued but couldn't tell me when, I suggested that it might be a good idea to put that on their website so people were aware and I got this reply which I am posting for information. Even though it is a shortage in only some areas I can't see why they can't make the info "public", however much I appreciate their individual response to me!
