Coeliac Disease

At DAFNE we were told coeliac disease is more common in type 1 diabetics as it is auto-immune.

Just interested to know what people's experiences have been with it. Were you diagnosed before/after the diabetes? What made you suspect Coeliac disease?

I've been tested for coeliac twice, both came back negative but I am still suspicious. I was first tested for coeliac 6mths before being diagnosed with diabetes.
