Can anyone help please been having high blood sugar readings past two days although taken correction doses with every meal, would an ulcer cause this?

Do you mean a mouth ulcer or stomach ulcer?

Got a reading of 8.2 before breakfast today had 2 slices of toast took my 3 units plus one to correct had nothin else to eat then b4 lunch was 16.2 took correction plus correction dose again now just got another reading b4 tea of 16.2 its the only thing i can think that's causing it

You may have some kind of infection coming on and that's sending your BGs haywire.
We all become insulin resistant when an infection takes hold.
You may not have any symptoms yet, but my BGs normally tell me 1 or 2 days before the grot arrives.
The mouth ulcer may be indicative of your overall condition....I sound like I should be selling Bob Martin cure all tablets for man's best friend!

Thanks Gary thanks for the help im at clinic tomoz so will discuss further there but not been feeling my best today so think your probs right x x
