Fundraising Walk for Diabetes

5mile walk!!!!
I am trying to raise £200 for research for Diabetes UK and also promoting DAFNE (Dose Adjustment for Normal Eating) course for people in the backcountry to attend, There GP has to pay for the course so that’s why people don’t know about DAFNE. My aim is to promote DAFNE at events all over the place because I believe it shouldn’t have to be a postcode lottery it should be available to everyone.

I should also point out on Leighton's behalf that the DAFNE programme are trying to help with this by providing his team with DAFNE tee-shirts etc. I hope we can all get behind this effort. He is also helping to provide the online petition for Diabetes Structured Education at http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk which seems to have stalled a bit at the moment
