Would anyone like to share info about iPhone/ Android apps that are useful? I'm thinking particularly about commercial apps that give nutrition information about the company's products. For example, my old favourite McDonalds have an iPhone app that includes nutrition inf. about all their products - including up to date information about their one-off specials. Given the free wi-fi available in most McDs I find I use the app a lot.

KFC have an app which links you to the nutritional info section of their website - useful but a bit clumsy. I see that BK also have an app that provides nutrition info on their menu, and there must be loads more.

Hi Stew
The best app I have found is the Carbs&Cals one. It is a little expensive but one of the best as has pictures as well so easier to estimate. I also find it quite accurate especially when eating out. Richard

Hi Richard - agreed! I had an unsuccessful daliance with a pump last year, but was given a copy of the Carbs&Cals Book with my starter pack - I liked it so much I bought the app!
