I know that with BI you can have a 1CP snack without worrying about QA. Does that still apply if you split BI (morning and bedtime)? I usually have biscuit with coffee mid morning. If i had 1CP between lunch and dinner, and between dinner and bed, should i account for it with the previous QA?

I personally would try to count the 10g snacks if its possible in the previous meal.......if its closer to the next meal then you shouldn't bother......

The BI insulin only really mops up the slower processed items, like vegetables, pulses and the like.....a biscuit will actually get processed much quicker than the BI can deal with it, so the QA is better equipped.....

So with that information I wouldn't say that a split BI dose actually matters when your considering uncovered snacks.....

The best thing to do is just see what these snack do to your BG at the next meal, they might not do much, but then again they might....if they do make a significant difference you might want to inject for it, considering Insulin On Board of course.....
