Testing - then needing to retest

When testing before a meal how long would you leave it before re-testing if a meal was ever delayed?

I would say about 10 to 15 mins and I would retest, not normally an issue for me though as I usually test at the table while meal is in front of me, no delay then

I would only test in advance id I felt high/low, if high and needed a correction I may have already done this and a new test might be misleading as already dropping.
