Carbs & Cals Book - pocket version

For anyone who has a copy of the above, i know it's guestimate but as a rule of thumb out of the 2 portion sizes do you go for the smaller or the larger portion size?

I would guesstimate my QA for the smaller of the two. I'd rather be a little high, especially if it's a nightime meal/snack, ran run the risk of hypo. The books are good when you're out and about but i'd still weigh stuff if you're at home. It can be confusing can't it andi've had to correct because i've underestimated but i'd rather be safe
