Hi as i z iv jus graduated today from the course and i am so excited, Iv bn a t1 diabetic 4 the past 13/14 years and hav had alot of bother from it a am from Northern Ireland and DAPHNE has only been phasing in since july 2011, but lookin back on what the info and DAPHNE technique has done to my Blood sugars the past week its gonna be amazing when i get it all tweaked out as i have a cold at the minute its been hard getting exact ratio's etc but fingers crossed next week wil bring it as close to perfection as possible. Im also being considered for a meter which i was a bit unsure about but since researching it and doing the course im 100% up for it. I'm just wondering has anyone else got and downsides to the pump or any opinions on it. |

Welcome Kerry. I did the DAFNE course at the RVH in Belfast in September 2010 (and I was far from the first) so it's not so new to NI as you might think. Hope it all works for you. You'll find lots of support on this forum. |
