This is a heads up for all people who are using an iPhone 3G and the DAFNE Online app. When the next release of iOS comes out (version 6 in autumn) Apple will be removing the ability to build the app for the iPhone 3G. This is because the 3 has a different processor type to the 3GS, 4 and 4S. If you want a more technical explanation then this blog post explains all.

So what does this mean for our app users? You will still be able to download updates (and fresh copies) of the app up until the first update of the app after iOS 6 comes out. After that happens any updates I add won't be able to create an iPhone 3G version, and you will have to stay with the version in the app store when iOS 6 came out.

Even though you won't be able to get updates for the app, you will still be able to use it on your iPhone 3G

Just a heads up, in case you were already thinking of upgrading Smile
