Hi
I was trying to leave a recommendation but it appears the other forum is locked for this. Perhaps you should have one for general feedback / suggestions (or have i missed it)?
I was going to recommend a few more graphical representations to show historical readings of the data. The graph idea is great but i think there is so much more to draw from this.
The site is really helping me to record things which I never used to do, but to keep up my motivation I would like to see the results that I could manipulate a little more. Line graphs, historical charts, trends etc.
Good luck...!

Hi Damo,

The 'Site Development' forum is the one for putting on requests for new features and suchlike, but it's OK to post here too Smile

What would you like to see from the graphical representations on the BG diary? These should be fairly easy to put in, but we need to know what data you'd like plotted - can you provide more information on this?

Thanks,

Simon

Have you ever had one of those constant monitoring systems fitted which plots your levels 24/7?
It plots a line graph and allows you to program in when you ate, done exercise etc. As you have nearly all of this information (and its easy to put comments in as well) you could show a similar line graph plotting points over time.
These could then be used to plot trends which would be really helpful in spotting what dosage you should be adjusting. i.e if you are always high before lunch it points at adjusting your breakfast levels.
It would also be a "reward" as such to try and get some consistent data in to the graph that you could actually help with adjustments.
Because Im not a great testing fan, maybe its just that I would like to be able to do more with the data when i do enter it....!
Thanks, D

Hi Damo,

We've now added trending charts to the online BG diary - these plot BG readings over time as well as your average BG reading at different times of the day. If there are other charts you'd like to see then let us know and we'll get started on them ASAP.

Thanks,

Simon

Hi Simon
Thanks for implementing that feedback.
I notice that you have also put an average for the last 7/14/30 days up there as well. Think thats a really good idea.
Im really finding this site useful, thanks again!!

Any chance we could get a forum for how diabetes in general affects everyday health issues. ??
I'd love to see a forum where maybe i can chat to other women who have had babies and how they fared with pregnancies etc....

Hi Aifric,

If you browse the General forum you'll see that other users have raised general Diabetes related issues here, would this meet your needs, or would you prefer to have a more specific forum geared towards health issues?

Our development, as always, is guided by you - the users.

Thanks,

Simon

Hiya...

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if a category covering treatments would be of any benefit? I'm just about to post a question regarding pumps and having searched I see all the results pop up in the "General" box. While this isn't a problem if you're searching (as they all pop up wherever they are) it would make the browsing of treatment related posts a bit simpler.

Searching for "Pump pen tablet" tends to reveal more results than you'd probably expect... Actually it returns none... I just tried it! Heheh!

I know it might sound a little lazy, but I feel having them all in one place would make things a lot easier. And maybe meters would fit in nicely along with the above.

Cheers all!
