Typically a slice of bought brown bread has 15 to 17g of carbohydrate per slice. Or 40g of carbs per 100g of bread. Hope this helps. Andy |

Hi, the low GI bread that I eat here in Ireland is 13.5 per slice. |

Try Livlife bread. 3.8 g / slice tastes good too. Online from Waitrose/Ocacdo or http://www.livlifefoods.co.uk |

In most supermarkets they sell Burgen linseed bread, it's low GI from what I'm told and it's 11g a slice. It's really nice. |
