Can I Pause or Save A Session?

I have been working for several hours on the first session. do I have to plod on right to the end or can I pause and save the work done do far? I'm getting a headache and feeling tired.

The data does seem to have been saved. I've had to log in again to continue the module.
Id like some positive indication that my data is being saved.
Any hard information from other folk please?
