Exercising safely with T1D - AcT1vate Weekend

Hello All,

This post is mainly for Australian-based DAFNErs, but anyone is welcome.

HypoActive (http://hypoactive.org) is running another AcT1vate weekend for type 1 diabetics who are interested in meeting up with other T1Ds who exercise, attend lectures on how to exercise safely with T1D, participate in some exercise and generally have a whole bunch of fun.

It will be held in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia on the weekend of 2-3 December.

Hi Warwick,

How did the AcT1vate weekend go? You were pretty unlucky with the weather of course Laughing But hopefully it still went well

All good thanks Susan. The weather wasn't as bad as predicted fortunately so lots of fun and lots of socialising which was awesome. Hope to run another one in a couple of years time.
