Medical tattoos

Today have had a medical tattoo, the rod of Asclepius and diabetic 1 in writing below. Looks great on inside of left forearm. Not sure how popular med tats are but would definitely suggest younger type 1s give them a thought. I'm 52 and been type 1 for 26yrs and wish now that someone would have given me the idea of a med tat. If anyone see's this post the info I would give is, 1 be sure you want a tat 2 research different designs 3 find a quality tattooist to discuss ideas 4 be proud to let everyone see your tat and finally hope that no one ever has to see your tat in an emergency.

Not for me, when they release the cure in a couple of years, I would have to get it removed

Why get it removed? Keep it as a reminder of all the fun you had being type 1.
