Hi there,

I am currently trialling entering my BG readings into the iPhone DAFNE app rather than in my paper diary. I just wondered if I continue to do this will I be able to show my dietician/nurse/specialist at some point in the future? Is there a way to upload these readings so I can then email them or even print them out?

Thanks

I tried to upload earlier as an excel doc but when I downloaded it, it came through as a load of goobledegook (as wordpad does) I to am unsure.... any suggestions would be appreciated.

The entries are automatically uploaded to the server (as long as there is a 3D connection) or (on Android at least) you can request that any missing items are uploaded. If I remember what Simon said correctly, I think the iPhone app automatically loads any missing (or updated?) entries.

With the data on the server you can then access it through the DAFNE Tools option above (providing you're signed in). This option allows you to download the data in a number of formats to the device on which you make the request. You can also choose the period to be downloaded. If you're only using it to view then pdf will probably be best. If you want to do any further analysis then use .csv and load into Excel.
