Hi everyone -

I'm really new to this site and haven't had a chance to list all my readings as yet but I seem to be geting real high morning BG. Sometimes as high as 22! I've done tests throughout the night and things are fine - it just seems to surge out of control about 5 or 6 am as if there's been a glucose surge before I wake.

Anyone else had this problem and how do I deal with it?
Any help much appreciated!

Pinkie

Hi Pinkie,
I am new to this myself but your night time seems hi, maybe bring that down a little first?

Hi P

Welcome to the site! I experienced what you are going through and still do but not as bad as it was a few months ago, read the posts in the General Forum "dawn phenomenon" you may find the answer/support there to give you an idea of what you can do but before you make any changes seek advice from your DAFNE educators and be recording your results religiously as that is the key to helping you too.
Have a read and keep in touch

Hey ,
Thanks for the heads up on Dawn Phenomenon. Going to do a bit of research.... but sounds like my problem.
Will let you know how I get on.
Thanks for all the help!
