Moving overseas

I spent six months in Cambodia last year, and struggled to a) be prescribed enough insulin to last the whole trip, and b) come up with an alternative supply just in case I lost or damaged any. For several years I have questioned how British diabetics have secured supplies overseas, particularly if they move abroad for extended periods.

Any ideas?
